Vision

At Amazing Children's Montessori, we focus on:

Practical Life: help the child gain independence and adapt to his society. Children are naturally interested in activities they have witnessed.

Sensorial: Specific materials are used to help a child develop and refine his or her five senses

Mathematics: Learning mathematical concepts begins concretely and progresses towards the abstract. They are developed from simple to complex. Process is taught first and facts come later. Order, coordination, concentration, and independence are experienced by the child using specific materials

Language Arts: Language is innate and it is in the nature of humans to express themselves both orally and by writing. This curriculum starts the moment your child enters our environment.

Culture and Science: Geography, Science, Botany, Zoology, and History are included. Art and Music are also considered a part of the Cultural Area of the classroom. The Montessori cultural studies is another thing that makes the Montessori classroom different from other ones. Maria felt that having knowledge and understanding of such subjects is what makes one a "cultured" person.

Mission

We believe in the Montessori methods of teaching. As Maria Montessori said, "Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words but by experiences in the environment."

It is our endeavor therefore, to create an environment at Amazing Children's Montessori which enables the growth and excellence of your child.

We also believe and promote that, "The first essential for the child's development is concentration. The child who concentrates is immensely happy."
